It was 6 hours after I realised that I’d been listening to this song on repeat, over and again…

I’ve been working on something new with a steep learning curve and I got a lot of work done during this time.
I’ve been unusually restless last week. Unable to sit still and focus on anything at a stretch.
Been rushing through rehab & workouts.
Been wanting to paint but couldn’t get around to it.
Until this song cut through all the noise around and silenced the gibberish in my head. I sat down and worked for 6 hours straight without realising it.
That’s how music “anchors” me.
Music influences how I experience things around me. And in turn – how I interact with my environment.
Lots of scientific research available on this, but to summarise…
The potent combination of Music and Coffee is an excellent facilitator for learning new skills as well as Painting, Exercising, Cooking, Driving… and basically – Living.
Instead of referencing a study from a scientific journal, here’s a couple of quotes from Einstein to Manson…
“If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.” – Albert Einstein.
“Music is the strongest form of magic.” – Marilyn Manson
