That’s the beauty & simplicity of it all.
More often than not, “We see what’s already in our minds.”
It’s incredibly difficult to step out of it all and imagine something radically different.

Almost always I wake up with a song playing in my head…

It sets the pace & tone for the rest of the day (unless I Workout.) The workout with it’s accompanying music changes everything after that. (That’s a whole different post by itself.)

Looking beyond the embers of bridges glowing behind us
To a glimpse of how green it was on the other side
Steps taken forwards but sleepwalking back again

Five years ago, the video for Marooned was released, then marking the 20th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s The Division Bell. Much of the thought-provoking video was shot by the Floyd’s Creative Director Aubrey ‘Po’ Powell in Pripyat, Ukraine, close to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, but there is also footage provided by NASA looking down at the planet from the International Space Station.
